Jennifer Grim "Through Broken Time"

Flutist and advocate Jennifer Grim shares music from her recent Afro-Modernist and post-minimalist release "Through Broken Time" (New Focus) with pianist Michael Sheppard. Hailed as a “sharply executed program” by The New York Times, Grim will perform works by Tania León, Alvin Singleton, David Sanford, Allison Loggins-Hull, and Julia Wolfe. Utilizing the full potential of National Sawdust’s Meyer Sound Constellation, the world-premiere arrangement of Julia Wolfe’s “Oxygen” will be presented in surround sound with Grim as soloist.
