2020-2021 (101st Season)

Unless otherwise noted, concerts will be virtual events held on Sundays at 5:30 pm (estimated time: 60 mins) and Solo Series will be virtual events held on Thursdays at 7:30 pm (estimated time: 30 mins).

Admission: All events (with the exception of the Flute Fair) are free to NYFC members.

	The Evolution of Edgard Varèse's Density 21.5 A comparative analysis of the 1936 (original) and 1946 (now-standard) edition of Edgard Varèse's Density 21.5. With flutist Molly Barth and Sacher Foundation scholar Felix Meyer. Moderated by Nancy Toff. 	Meg Griffith and John Heiss Meg Griffith will interview John Heiss about his works for flute, illustrated with the composer’s recording of his Etudes, a recording of which can be found on the NYFC's Luening CD (liner notes here, sheet music for Etude No. 1 here).
